Truck, 21⁄2-ton, 6x6, Reo M35

The ‘Eager Beaver’ M-series range was launched in 1950 by Reo and with periodic improvements and changes continued in production until the 1980s. Over the years other manufacturers (Studebaker, Curtiss Wright, Kaiser Jeep, AM General, White) also built large quantities and there was a multiplicity of body types. Late models had multi-fuel and diesel engines and there were austere versions for MAP recipients. Variants included wreckers, tankers and other special equipment types, bodied/ equipped by sub-contractors. G742.
